INSSSL to Host Strategic Forum "Meeting the Challenges of Extremism by Advancing Human Security Centred Policies.”

The Institute of National Security Studies Sri Lanka (INSSSL), affiliated to the Ministry of Defence together with Near East South Asia Center for Strategic Studies (NESA) will be holding a two day strategic forum under the theme “Meeting the Challenges of Extremism by Advancing Human Security Centred Policies.” The forum will be held on the 6th and 7th of September at the INSSSL premises located at the 8th floor, Suhurupaya, Battaramulla.

The event will be graced by Mr. R.P.R Rajapaksa, Additional Secretary for Parlimentary Affiars, Policy & Planning, Mr. R.M.S. Sarath Kumara, Additional Secretary of Defence along with the attendance of a high level US delegation, senior military officials and academics representing the South Asian region. The two day event is another one from a series of events organised by INSSSL as Sri Lanka’s premier national security think tank in collaboration with reputable international think tanks relating to national security. The strategic forum is organised under the guidance of Mr. Asanga Abeygoonasekara, Director General INSSSL and Dr. Roger Kangas of NESA.
