Ms. Ruwanthi Jayasekara joined INSS as a research assistant to the Institute of National Security Studies on 25th of June 2019. She was an active researcher in the research department and represented INSS in several international forums. Her contribution in organizing and participating in national security discussions was admirable and she has published many commentaries and research papers in local and international journals, displaying her contribution in the research field. Ms. Ruwanthi bid farewell to the institute on 30th of July 2021, after being selected as a British Chevening Scholar in University of Warwick to pursue her higher studies. INSS wishes her good luck in her future endeavors.
Mrs. Waruni Madhubashini joined Institute of National Security Studies on 26th August 2019, as a Research Assistant. She skillfully handled the Defence Quarterly magazine published by the institute and engaged and organized many events and discussions organized by the Institute of National Security Studies. Mrs. Waruni has published commentaries and research papers in many platforms, showcasing her knowledge. She bid farewell to the institute on 25th of August 2021, after being selected as a strategic researcher at Foreign Ministry. INSS wishes her all the best and good luck in her new voyage.
