A delegation from the Rwanda Defence Force Command and Staff College (RDFCSC), led by the Head of the Academic Department, Colonel Lausanne Nsengimana Ingabire, visited the Institute of National Security Studies (INSS), the premiere think tank on National Security in Sri Lanka on Tuesday (Feb 11).
The overlooking Director General and Acting Director (Research) of INSS Colonel Nalin Herath welcomed the delegation at the venue and presented an informative overview of the institute. His presentation covered the organizational structure of INSS, its commitment to addressing national security, the contemporary challenges faced, ongoing research and development initiatives and strategic plans for the future.
The session culminated in a productive Q&A session, during which Colonel Ingabire emphasized the significance of the discussions in strengthening cooperation between the two institutions in each country’s defence sector. She expressed her intent to foster continued collaboration moving forward.
In recognition of the occasion, mementos were also exchanged highlighting the importance of the partnership between two organizations.
