Director General of the Institute for National Security Studies (INSS), Colonel Nalin Herath, Delivers Lecture at the Nepal Institute for International Cooperation and Engagement (NIICE)

Colonel Nalin Herath, Director General of the Institute for National Security Studies (INSS), recently delivered a lecture at the Nepal Institute for International Cooperation and Engagement (NIICE). His address focused on the timely and critical topic of “Climate Security and South Asia’s Strategic Response.”

The lecture was held in collaboration with the Consortium of South Asian Think Tanks (COSATT) conference, creating a valuable platform for high-level dialogue among regional experts, scholars and policymakers. Colonel Herath's insights emphasized the growing nexus between climate change and security challenges in South Asia, highlighting the need for collective strategic responses, adaptive policy frameworks and enhanced regional cooperation.
