Delegation Visit of the Organisation for Research on China and Asia (ORCA) to the Institute of National Security Studies (INSS)

The Institute of National Security Studies (INSS) hosted a delegation from the Organisation for Research on China and Asia (ORCA), India on 19th May 2026, for an academic engagement held at the Conference Hall of INSS today. The ORCA delegation comprised Mr. Rahul Reddy, Director – Consultancy and Senior Research Associate, and Mr Ratish Mehta, Deputy Director and Senior Research Associate.

The discussion focused on contemporary issues relating to India–Sri Lanka–China relations, broader regional security dynamics in South Asia and the Indo-Pacific, and opportunities for future academic and institutional collaboration.

During the session, the delegation engaged in a constructive exchange with the Director General (Covering) of INSS, Major General A. K. D. Adikari, USP , ndc and members of the INSS research team. Ms Nilmini Ulluwishewa, Director (Administration) of INSS, also accompanied the proceedings.

The meeting concluded with mutual interest in strengthening academic cooperation and continued institutional dialogue between ORCA and INSS.
